Angelina Jolie’s Relationships

On the set of Hackers Jolie found herself in a relationship with British actor Jonny Lee Miller. They married on March 28, 1996. During the wedding ceremony Jolie wore black rubber pants and a white T-shirt, which had the name of the groom written in her blood. Jolie and Miller separated 18 months later and divorced on February 3, 1999.

During the filming of Foxfire Jolie, found herself in love with her co-star Jenny Shimizu. In interviews, the openly bisexual Jolie stated that she was in love with Shimizu.

On the set of Pushing Tin, Jolie met Billy Bob Thornton who was 20 years her senior. They married on May 5, 2000 and the marriage soon became a favorite subject of the tabloid press with bizarre public declarations of love like wearing each other’s blood in a vial on a chain. Jolie and Thornton split in June 2002, only three months after their adoption of a Cambodian baby, and divorced on May 27, 2003.

Early 2005 Jolie was involved in a Hollywood scandal in which she was accused of being the reason for the separation between actors Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Jolie denied several times that there was an affair on the set of Mr. & Mrs.. Smith, but admitted that she had fallen in love during filming. In January 2006 Jolie confirmed for the first time their relationship by announcing that she was pregnant with Pitt’s child.
