‘The Changeling’ Trailer

The theatrical trailer for Clint Eastwood directed Changeling, starring Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich, was released on Thursday, September 11.

The film is based on true events that transpired in Los Angeles in 1928, and tells the story of a woman whose nine year old son is kidnapped.

When he is returned to her she suspects police have given her the wrong boy, but she is sent to an insane asylum for disagreeing with the LAPD. She later discovers her real son has been murdered.

A priest, played by John Malkovich, helps Jolie take on the corrupt LAPD unit which botched her son’s rescue and attempted to cover it up, in the process exposing a city-wide corruption scandal.

The film will premiere at the New York Film Festival on October 4, and will be released nationwide on October 31.
