The paparazzi swarming France’s Cote d’Azur can’t find Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Locals mutter or giggle about the invasion of Hollywood glam. A flyover of their new home in a luxurious villa turned up no clues about a report they’ve added a set of twins — which Pitt’s manager says is “not true.”

This pastoral sliver of the south of France has been abuzz ever since reports emerged last week that the Brangelina clan was moving in — confirmed by the mayor of the village in question, Correns.

A helicopter swing Saturday over the vast yet reclusive Chateau Miraval, where the couple and their four children are said to be settling, turned up only stepped vineyards, empty chairs at a table on a pockmarked stone patio and a helicopter parked on a finely groomed lawn in front of a farmhouse and accompanying buildings. ANGELINA JOLIE has ended her long rift with her actor father JON VOIGHT.

The pair has been estranged since 2002, when the Hollywood veteran told a TV interview his daughter had “severe emotional problems”. She subsequently shut him out of her life and has rejected his every attempt to reconcile.

But Jolie reveals she has opened up communication with the 69-year-old, as she prepares to give birth to twins.

She tells Australia’s Sydney Morning Herald newspaper, “We are going to try to get to know each other and maybe try not to be this daddy and daughter, but to be there for each other as friends in the coming years.”

In a separate interview, Voight confirmed the pair planned to meet over the summer (08). He said, “I’m sure we will, yeah.”

I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy.”

Angelina Jolie on her international family:
“When I was growing up I wanted to adopt, because I was aware there were kids that didn’t have parents. It’s not a humanitarian thing, because I don’t see it as a sacrifice. It’s a gift. We’re all lucky to have each other. I look at Shiloh—because, obviously, physically, she is the one that looks like Brad and I when we were little—and say, ‘If these were our brothers and sisters, how much would we have known by the time we were six that it took into our 30s and 40s to figure out?’ I suppose I’m giving them the childhood I always wished I had.” Read more…

The Brangelina clan began settling into a villa in the south of France as reports that the couple’s twins had been born were refuted by other celebrity news outlets.

“Entertainment Tonight” first reported on its Web site Friday that Angelina Jolie had given birth in France, citing a “source close to Jolie.” Then People magazine posted a story online saying that Jolie had not given birth, and E! and US Weekly followed with their own stories saying the babies remained unborn.

“Entertainment Tonight” did not immediately return a call for comment; visitors to the show’s Web site saw a blank screen or a message that read “technical difficulties.”

Angelina Jolie has finally popped and given birth to twins, according to various reports in France.

The actress, who conceived with partner Brad Pitt, is believed to have welcomed her two new family additions at a Catholic clinic in the country’s Aix-en-Provence on Sunday.

Jolie confirmed she was expecting at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this month and admitted she wanted to give birth in her late mother’s native country.

The couple has three adopted children, Maddox, Pax and Zahara and biological daughter, Shiloh, who turned two on Tuesday.

Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie is earning glowing reviews for her role in Clint Eastwood’s Changeling, premiered at the Cannes Film festival recently. It is believed that the film would be picking up major awards for both the direction and Jolie’s “top-notch” performance.

“Impressive as she may have been as the wife of Danny Pearl, her performance here hits home more directly,” People quoted reviewer Todd McCarthy. The Los Angeles Times has dubbed Eastwood’s direction “flawless” and the response to the movie “rapturous.”

“Based on this powerful and searing performance, it would be a good bet she will again be in the hunt for the Best Actress nomination that eluded her for A Mighty Heart last year,” wrote reviewer Pete Hammond referring to Jolie. Read more…

Angelina Jolie says she is “taking off completely” from her acting career so she can spend more time with her children. She and her partner Brad Pitt have four children and are expecting twins this summer.

Jolie has spoken out about her life as a working mom. The 32-year-old says she feels “very lucky” because her job allows her to spend a lot of time with her family.

“I’m very, very lucky. A lot of mothers don’t have a job where they can just work a few months in a year and then come out for two says for a press conference,” Jolie says. “My schedule is very small in comparison when it comes to hours so I can afford to spend as much time as possible with my children.” Read more…

Kung Fu Panda” features Jack Black as Po the Panda, a lowly waiter in a noodle restaurant, who is a kung fu fanatic but whose shape doesn’t exactly lend itself to kung fu fighting. In fact, Po’s defining characteristic appears to be that he is the laziest of all the animals in ancient China. That’s a problem because powerful enemies are at the gates, and all hopes have been pinned on a prophesy naming Po as the “Chosen One” to save the day. A group of martial arts masters are going to need a black belt in patience if they are going to turn this slacker panda into a kung fu fighter before it’s too late.

Brangelina’s ever expanding brood is going to have a lot more room to play. A lot.

Expectant parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have plunked down a cool $60 million on a sprawling 1,000-acre estate in the south of France. With 35 bedrooms, plus a vineyard, lake, forest and moat, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and the soon-to-be-born twins are going to be playing house in high style.

“It’s called Chateau Miraval in a village called Brignol, which is near from Aix-en-Provence,” a source tells E! News. “And it’s absolutely unbelievable.

“Brad and Angelina are thrilled, they love the place and have already been furniture shopping to fill the place as it’s massive,” the insider added. “They’ve already spent almost another million on furniture and the whole family can’t wait to move in.” Read more…

Established Hollywood filmmakers and stars such as Clint Eastwood and Angelina Jolie were competing against movies from acclaimed international directors for the top honors at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday.

Among critical favorites at the 12-day festival, which presented some solid entries though no obvious standouts, was Eastwood’s “Changeling,” starring Jolie in the true-life story of a Los Angeles woman battling corrupt police to find her missing son after authorities return the wrong boy in his place.

Angelina Jolie had been keeping a low profile in recent weeks. But on May 15, after the premiere of her new animated movie, Kung Fu Panda, at the Cannes Film Festival in France, she looked thrilled to be out in public — and showing off her pregnancy. “She seemed so happy,” says an onlooker. “She let Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman [her co-stars] hug her belly.” And as Angie schmoozed with other celebrities, Brad Pitt was by her side. “She looked so comforted by his affection,” says the onlooker. “She was always smiling.”

As her due date nears, Angelina, 32, finally seems eager to talk about her babies. And she and Brad, 44, are clearly willing to do — and spend — anything to bring them into the world secure and healthy. In fact, insiders estimate Brad and Angie will spend at least $20 million in France on security, medical costs and shelter for their growing brood.

“Brad and Angelina love all their children and will do everything to protect them and keep them healthy,” says an insider. “Money is no object when it comes to the kids.” That’s true when it comes to the twins as well. “They can drop thousands of dollars on them in a day,” says the insider. “They’d do anything for them.”
