Brad Pitt has called Life & Style magazine “reckless and dangerous” for claiming on their cover last week that he and Angelina Jolie have upped security because their daughter Shiloh is the target of death threats.
“This is absolutely not true and reckless and dangerous to put these ideas out into the world,” Pitt said in a statement to Usmagazine.com.
This erroneous report in Life & Style is the latest in a string of false stories by Bauer Publishing, which also publishes In Touch. Last month, In Touch falsely claimed Britney Spears had penned a suicide note and Jamie Lynn Spears was “dumped.”
In November, In Touch used “faked” text messages to perpetuate an incorrect story stating that Britney Spears was pregnant.
