17/11 Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Design Jewelry for Asprey
There’s a new designer duo in the jewelry world: none other than Brangelina.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are breaking into high-end jewelry design with Asprey via a capsule collection of gold jewelry and silver accessories called The Protector — and inspired by the snake.
The limited edition collection, which was conceived and designed by Pitt and Jolie, has been in the works for more than a year, and will go on sale at Asprey stores in London, New York, Beverly Hills, Tokyo and Dubai later this week, according to Asprey officials.
Prices start at $525 for a silver baby spoon with a curving, serpent-shaped handle, and all net proceeds from sales will go to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which was cofounded by Jolie in 2006. The charity raises awareness and funds to educate child victims of war, conflict and natural disasters.
Jolie and Pitt declined to talk about their collection for Asprey, opting instead to discuss the aims of the charity in an e-mailed quote attributed to Jolie: “These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place — to just be children. Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school.” Read the rest of this entry »
A couple of weeks ago we finally got to see Angelina Jolie in her latest action flick Salt, when a teaser trailer popped up online. Now, thanks to the folks over a Joblo, the movie’s first poster has been revealed and it’s kind of scary. 16/11 Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s Night at the Museum
ET has a candid look at Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as they joined their celebrity peers at the Museum of Contemporary Art’s (MOCA) 30th Anniversary Gala in Los Angeles, Calif. on Saturday night.
The couple had some laughs as they followed their tour guide through the museum.
“It’s going to be an amazing night to look at the art,” actor Neil Patrick Harris said prior to the event. “And Lady Gaga is dancing with ballet people so that will be kind of crazy.”

15/11 Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Go on Date to Art Museum
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt left their six children at home Saturday as they enjoyed a private viewing of The Museum of Contemporary Art’s new 30th anniversary exhibition in Los Angeles.
The 34-year-old Jolie, in a strapless Armani Prive gown, and Pitt, 45, didn’t pack on the PDA like they normally do for photographers.
Instead, they walked around the gallery — occasionally leaving each other’s side to look at pieces on their own.

10/11 Jolie urges support for the SOS model of care
SOS Children’s Villages, the world’s largest charity for orphaned and abandoned children, welcomed Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to its Village in Amman, Jordan. The October visit was a result of an invitation from Her Majesty Queen Noor, Honorary President of SOS Children’s Villages – Jordan.
After spending time with SOS children and mothers in Amman, Jolie enthusiastically spoke of the SOS family-based model of care: “The SOS model of providing care for children without parental care is one of the best, as they are still in a family setting within their own country,” Jolie said. “We hope more people learn about their programs and give them support.”
SOS operates in 132 countries with three SOS Children’s Villages in Jordan. SOS Jordan includes 20 family homes where orphaned children grow up in a nurturing environment with an SOS mother, brothers and sisters. Johnny Depp is in talks to star with Angelina Jolie in “The Tourist,” a film that is undergoing another major shift of elements as it heads toward a February production start.
Graham King’s GK Films is financing and distributing through his multipicture output deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Depp is negotiating to play an American tourist drawn into a web of intrigue by a female Interpol agent (Jolie) who is attempting to locate a criminal who was once her lover.
The move comes after “Avatar” star Sam Worthington exited along with director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, both over creative differences.
